Center for Adult and Continuing Education (CACE)

CACE currently hosts three programs, the Adult Degree Program (ADP), Alternative Teacher Certification Program (ATCP), and Continuing Education. In addition, specific programs are designed for, but not limited to the individual, business, or institution, seeking:

Adult Degree Program

The Adult Degree Program (ADP) extends the University’s educational offerings to full-time, working adults seeking to continue education opportunities.


Alternative Teacher Certification Program 

Our online alternative teacher certification is specifically designed for people who possess a bachelor’s degree or higher and are currently considering a teaching career at Huston-Tillotson.  The HT ATCP is a highly respected certification program that offers full certification within three academic semesters, face-to-face instruction that includes 18 credited hours of course work, field-based experience, and a one-year paid internship.

Continuing Education 

The Continuing Education Programs at Huston-Tillotson University offer a variety of educational opportunities and services specifically designed to address the needs of the lifelong learner, businesses, and institutions. Our mission is to provide various industry-recognized certificate series, certification exam preparation courses, personal enrichment classes, programs, and events.
