MBA Program

An MBA degree is one that is highly recognizable throughout the world. The HT MBA degree allows students with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration or in a related business degree to build upon the skills already learned.

The HT MBA is a hybrid MBA program with a concentration in Management. It offers a blended learning format of online and on-campus courses and is specifically designed for the working professional.

Huston-Tillotson University men’s soccer coach Aaron Yancy has been named the HBCU Athletic Conference’s 2025 Coach of the Year, while freshman Alejandro Cruz earned a spot on the league’s All-Conference Team, the conference announced Tuesday.
Now in his third season leading the Rams, Yancy, a 2011 HT alumnus, has guided the team to its best season and first conference postseason appearance since 2022. The 2022 Rams finished 8-7 and reached the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Tournament.
In their first season as members of the HBCU Athletic Conference (HBCUAC), the Rams posted a 7-7 record and went 2-2 in conference play.
The Rams are seeking their third conference tournament title and their first since capturing the 2011 RRAC Championship. Yancy, who played a key role as a student-athlete when HT won its first RRAC title in 2006, now has the opportunity to lead the Rams to another historic run as head coach.
Freshman midfielder Alejandro Cruz, from Lockhart, Texas, was named to the All-HBCUAC Team after a standout first collegiate season. Cruz contributed two goals and two assists, logging 1,056 minutes of playing time the third-most on the team behind Dominique Munson-Garza and Manuel “Lito” Guevara.
The Rams will play in the HBCU Athletic Conference Championship today at 6 p.m. against Wiley University.

In his first year as head coach after previously serving as an assistant, Gimeno guided HT to its best season since 2021, which also marked the last time the Rams advanced to a postseason conference tournament. Under his leadership, the team posted a 6-6-1 record and captured the HBCUAC West Division title.
Evans, a transfer from Mississippi Valley State University, led the Rams in scoring with seven goals and 15 points. The Fort Lauderdale, Fla., native recorded two multi-goal matches and scored in three of HT’s four conference games.
Defender Alicia Gonzales, from Kearns, Utah, anchored the Rams’ back line throughout the season. She was the only HT player to start all 13 regular-season matches, leading the team with 1,072 minutes played.
Graduate student Lincy Villatoro, from Los Angeles, returned to collegiate soccer this season after a seven-year hiatus, having last played at Texas A&M International University. She led the Rams with six assists, providing veteran leadership and creative playmaking on the field.
Vences, a freshman from Baytown, Texas, made an immediate impact in goal, leading HT in saves and earning a 1-3-1 record. Her season highlight came in a shutout draw against Concordia Texas.
