| Dr. Cynthia J. Charles served as the Director of the Will W. Alexander Library at Dillard University for 12 years. She previously served as the head librarian and branch manager of the Austin Public Library, George Washington Carver Branch in Austin, Texas and Library Director at Texas College in Tyler, Texas. Dr. Charles earned her bachelor’s degree in General Studies – Arts & Humanities, from the University of Houston-Downtown and her Master’s in Library and Information Studies from the University of Texas in Austin. She completed her Doctorate in the summer of 2019 in Educational Administration at Concordia University in Portland, Oregon. | ||

| Katie Ashton is from Austin, Texas, but most of her family is from England. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from St. Edward’s University and a Master’s in Information Science from the University of Texas, and combines the two to think about what you might like to read. With the Downs-Jones Library since 2013, she is now responsible for providing online resources, buying and processing print and digital books, and making media technology available to the campus. When not at the library, she enjoys writing, reading all the science fiction and fantasy she can get her hands on, and playing with her two cats, Diesel and Raven. | ||

| Ariel Radock has lived in Boston, MA and Chicago, IL before moving to Austin. She has two undergraduate degrees in Art History and Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Ariel completed a Master’s of Library Science degree at Texas Woman’s University in 2021. She is excited to assist students and faculty members with finding information in the library while fostering information literacy skills. | ||

| Sarah Duhan earned her undergraduate degree in Japanese Studies from the University of Arizona. She earned her Master’s of Science in Library Science from the University of North Texas in 2023. Before coming to the Downs-Jones Library, Sarah worked for eight years at the Lubbock Public Library and for four years at the University of Texas Libraries. She’s eager to help any library visitors meet their information needs. When away from the library, Sarah enjoys woodworking, playing bass guitar, and camping with her dog, Irwin. | ||

| Selah Tabibian is a minister, author, activist, national spoken word artist, producer and host of the Podcast/TV show called Meeting of the Mindz. Selah graduated Summa Cum Laude in the field of Psychology and Philosophy from Huston-Tillotson University and is thrilled to be back on campus helping students in the library. |

| Winter Daniel earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before working at the Downs-Jones library, Winter worked in the legal field as a compliance specialist. She is originally from Houston, but has been living in Austin for eighteen years. Outside of the library, her hobbies include Muay Thai Kickboxing, being a Hello Kitty enthusiast, and travelling. | ||
