Admission Requirements

  • Pay a non-refundable $25 admission application fee
  • Earned a minimum 2.0 GPA in the last 30 college-level semester hours attempted
  • Students with less than 30 college-level semester hours will have to submit a high school transcript
  • Must be in good standing with the previous college/university attended
  • Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (even if students have withdrawn from the institution before final grades are posted)

 

Students transferring from junior/community colleges and four-year accredited institutions are limited to transferring 66 college-level semester credit hours toward graduation requirements. Only courses with “C” or better grades are accepted for transfer credit.

Note: There is no guarantee that all transfer credits will apply towards satisfying degree requirements at Huston-Tillotson University. The Academic Advisor, in consultation with the Director of Student Services, makes the final decision to accept transfer credit applicable to the student’s degree plan. Transfer credit is not counted in calculating a student’s cumulative GPA.
