Technology Lending Policies
Quantities and checkout times are limited. Borrowers must return library items so that other people can check them out as well!
Automated due date reminders will be sent to your HT inbox. Check your library account to see what you have and when it is due.

Students:
- May borrow up to two (2) devices for one (1) week each.
- See Check Out Technology for available devices.
- May borrow Chromebook laptops from the Circulation Desk.
- Limit one (1) Chromebook per student.
- Late fines:
- The library does not currently charge late fines. See Lending Policies – Students, Faculty, and Staff for our Fines and Fees General Policy.
- Lost item fines: Vary based on the replacement cost of the device.
- Lost item fines will be waived if the item is returned, no matter how overdue.
- Devices returned broken are considered lost.

Faculty & Staff:
- May borrow up to three (3) devices for three (3) weeks each.
- See Check Out Technology for available devices.
- May borrow Chromebook 2-in-1 laptops from Room 103.
- May borrow student Chromebooks if 2-in-1s are not available and extra student Chromebooks are.
- Late fines: Faculty and staff are not charged late return fines.
- Faculty/staff reminder emails vary. Please check your account for due dates.
- Lost item fines: Vary based on the replacement cost of the device.

Exceptions:
- Headphones may be borrowed for up to two (2) hours and must remain in the library building.
- iPads must remain in the library building.

- Please ask the Media & Technical Services Librarian if you need MORE devices or need them for LONGER than the standard checkout period. These resources are here for YOU.
