High School / College registrar offices may require visiting students to have paperwork turned into their prospective attendance or registrar’s offices to receive an absence credit from class. The Office of Recruitment and Admission will provide a visit letter per request.
We welcome groups of prospective students to Huston-Tillotson University. A group is considered to have ten or more students. Please note that visiting groups are limited to 100 students. All Group Tours from October-May are on most mornings at 10 a.m. Reservations are required. All Group Tours will begin at the Agard-Lovinggood Auditorium.
Group Tours are approximately an hour and fifteen minutes long and include a visit to the Center for Academic Excellence, Davage-Durden Student Union, and a glimpse of several of our historical buildings. If you are 15 minutes late for your tour, it will be considered a “self guided” tour.
Guest/students may eat for $9.00 per person (this is also the group rate). Hours are 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Due to the heavy volume in our Dining Hall, we recommend your group eat at 11 a.m.
