HT × St. Edward's University

The Teresa Hall Partnership

Our partnership with St. Edward's University expands on-campus housing for HT students while addressing the growing demand for residential space.

Overview of the Partnership

In August 2023, the two universities entered into a multi-year agreement giving Huston-Tillotson University exclusive use of Teresa Hall on the St. Edward's campus. The agreement provides housing for HT students each academic year while allowing HT to continue growing enrollment without being limited by on-campus housing capacity. (stedwards.edu)

Who Lives in Teresa Hall?

For the 2026–2027 academic year, Teresa Hall primarily houses:
  ‣ Upper-class HT students
  ‣ Returning students
  ‣ Residence Life student staff (Resident Assistants and Residence Hall staff)

This arrangement allows first-year students to remain on the main HT campus in Allen-Frazier and Beard-Burrowes Halls while providing quality housing for returning students. (Hilltop Views)
