Sigma Tau Delta

Sigma Tau Delta, founded in 1924 at Dakota Wesleyan University, is the International English Honor Society that recognizes exceptional achievement in English language and literature. Guided by its motto, “Sincerity, Truth, and Design,” the society celebrates academic excellence and fosters a passion for literary study.

Membership is open to high-achieving undergraduate and graduate students, offering opportunities such as scholarships, publication avenues, and participation in international conventions. Through its global community, Sigma Tau Delta encourages intellectual growth, creativity, and lifelong engagement with literature.
