
Library Policies
Using the Library
- The lower floor is reserved for silent studying: no talking is allowed downstairs.
- The upper floor is for collaboration, socializing, group work, and visiting.
- Phone conversations are allowed on the upper level of the library. Please be mindful of your volume.
- Listening to music or watching a video? Please be mindful of the people around you and keep your volume low. Headphones are available at the Circulation Desk.
- Sleeping is never allowed in the library.
- Lost and found is located at the circulation desk.
Circulation Policies
- Checking out a book, Chromebook, textbook, or other library item? Visit our Lending Policies pages for Students, Faculty, and Staff or Guests.
- To prevent the spread of COVID-19, returned items will be quarantined for 48 hours before becoming available for checkout again.
Reserve Textbooks
- Reserve textbooks can be checked out for one hour.
- Textbooks can be renewed if no one else has requested the book.
- Reserve textbooks must stay inside the library.
- To prevent the spread of COVID-19 between shared objects, gloves (provided) and masks must be worn while handling reserve textbooks.
Food and Drink
- Food and drink are allowed in the library. Please be careful and clean up around you!
Printing and Copying
- Print from any desktop computer on campus to Johnathan.ht.local and pick up your printouts in the library!
- Black-and-White Printing: AVAILABLE
- Color Printing: AVAILABLE
- Double-Sided Printing: AVAILABLE
- Printing from a Laptop: NOT AVAILABLE
- Black-and-White Copying: AVAILABLE
- Color Copying: AVAILABLE
- Scanning to USB Drive: AVAILABLE
- Scanning to OneDrive: AVAILABLE
- Scanning to Email: AVAILABLE
Study Rooms
- Study rooms accommodate groups of 2 to 4 people.
- Study rooms may also be used by individuals for conference calls and video interviews on request.
- Study rooms may be reserved in advance for up to two hours.
