Dr. Shaquille Dillon Named 2026 Finalist for Austin Under 40 Awards in Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations

Austin, Texas – Huston-Tillotson University proudly announces that Dr. Shaquille K. Dillon, Vice President for Marketing, Strategy, Impact, and Innovation, was named a 2026 Finalist for the Austin Under 40 Awards in the Advertising, Marketing, and Public Relations category.

Presented annually by the Austin Under 40 Foundation, the Austin Under 40 Awards recognize and celebrate emerging leaders under the age of 40 who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement and a deep commitment to community service throughout Central Texas. Being selected as a finalist places Dr. Dillon among the region’s most accomplished young professionals whose work is making a meaningful impact across their industries and communities.

Since joining Huston-Tillotson University, Dr. Dillon has led a transformative reimagining of the University’s brand, communications strategy, and institutional marketing efforts. Under his leadership, the Office of Marketing and Communications, he has expanded the University’s visibility through innovative storytelling, strategic partnerships, enhanced digital engagement, and integrated marketing campaigns that have elevated the institution’s profile locally and nationally.

Dr. Dillon has also played a pivotal role in advancing the University’s strategic priorities by leading initiatives that strengthen enrollment marketing, institutional branding, community engagement, and innovation. His leadership has supported major institutional milestones, including national recognition for academic excellence, the launch of new recruitment initiatives, and the successful promotion of signature events that celebrate the University’s historic 150-year legacy.
