AUSTIN, Texas — Huston-Tillotson University’s Office of Career and Graduate Development hosted the university’s inaugural Fall Career Fair, drawing nearly 50% more student attendees compared with career events in previous years and marking a milestone in professional engagement on campus.
The fair connected HT students with professional opportunities and career pathways, providing a dedicated setting for students to explore their next steps and prepare for life beyond the classroom.
The increase in participation reflects growing student interest in career preparation and engagement with the professional development resources available at the university.
“The strong student turnout demonstrates that our students are eager to build professional connections, explore career pathways and prepare for their futures,” said Bertina Reed, an HT staff member involved in organizing and supporting the event.
The Office of Career and Graduate Development coordinated the fair as part of Huston-Tillotson University’s commitment to helping students connect their academic experiences with meaningful professional opportunities.
