The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice is a four-year interdisciplinary program in the study of crime and the administration of the justice system. The “criminal justice system” study consists of law enforcement, courts, and corrections as a system for the administration of city, county, state, and federal laws and procedures. The curriculum includes a historical overview of the stages of development through which the criminal justice system has evolved and the current state of the system. The Criminal Justice program focuses on the study of crime and the administration of the justice system. Students study law enforcement, courts, and corrections with the applicable city, county, state, and federal laws and procedures.

    Pay a non-refundable $25 admission application fee
  • Grade Point Average Requirements

    Earned a minimum 2.0 GPA in the last 30 college-level semester hours attempted (Education majors will need a minimum of 2.3) Students with less than 30 college-level semester hours will have to submit a high school transcript
  • Student Standing

    Must be in good standing with the last college/university attended
  • Transcripts

    If currently enrolled in college, please submit an unofficial transcript to assist with your admissions review. Official transcripts from all other colleges previously attended are required to ensure a complete and accurate review. If not received, the official degree audit will be delayed.

Additional Admissions Information

To be considered for enrollment into the Bachelor of Arts in Psychology cohort, an applicant must show an ability to benefit from college-level, upper division studies as demonstrated by:

  • 50 transferable semester hours completed at a college or university with regional, national, professional, or specialized accreditation, or with candidacy status as documented via official transcripts.
    • If needed to meet admission credit requirements, CLEP/PEP/DANTES transcripts, Joint Service Transcripts (JST), a DD214 or DD295, and CCRS (formerly ACE/PONSI) transcripts are required.
    • There is no age limit to the transfer credits. All relevant coursework will be transferred within the guidelines of the program.
  • Overall college transfer grade-point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • One year of full-time work experience.
