Music, traditional dance, and community take center stage at the Student Union.
AUSTIN, Texas — Huston–Tillotson University celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with an Evening Fiesta in the Student Union. The gathering invites the HT campus community to connect through music, dance, food, and cultural expression.
The evening will feature traditional Mexican dances performed by Akins High School Ballet Folklórico and the rhythms and traditions of Puerto Rican Bomba presented by the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. DJ “Yenjuan” will provide music throughout the celebration, and light refreshments will be served.
Through these performances, the fiesta will highlight distinct cultural traditions within Hispanic and Latino communities while creating space for shared celebration and discovery.
