Worley/Bowles Endowment Scholarship
The Worley/Bowles Endowment Scholarship supports students pursuing a degree in Teacher Education at Huston-Tillotson University. This endowed scholarship recognizes students who have demonstrated academic achievement, financial need, and a commitment to the teaching profession.
Award Amount:
- Award amounts vary based on available endowment funding.
- Scholarship awards are typically divided equally between the Fall and Spring semesters.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be enrolled in a Teacher Education program at Huston-Tillotson University.
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Must demonstrate financial need.
- Must be considered worthy of receiving the scholarship based on the established selection criteria.
Selection Process:
Recipients are selected by the appropriate academic department in accordance with the donor’s intent and university scholarship policies.
Please Note: Scholarship funds are applied directly to the student’s HT account and may only be used toward eligible educational charges. Awards are subject to available funding and continued eligibility.
