The Presidential Scholarship is the highest scholarship award offered at Huston-Tillotson University. This prestigious award recognizes outstanding students for their academic achievement and potential for success.
Recipients may be awarded one of the following scholarship levels:
- Full Cost Scholarship: Covers tuition, mandatory fees, room, and board.
- Tuition and Fees Scholarship: Covers tuition and mandatory fees only.
Scholarship awards are renewable for up to four academic years (eight semesters), excluding summer terms, provided students continue to meet all renewal requirements.
Eligibility and Renewal Requirements:
- Must enroll as a full-time traditional student each semester.
- Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.4.
- Must successfully complete at least 30 credit hours by the end of each academic year.
- Scholarship support is limited to a maximum of eight semesters.
- Award covers up to 17 credit hours per semester. Additional charges may apply for enrollment exceeding the covered credit-hour limit.
