Technology in the Library
These devices remain in the library and are available for use by students, faculty, staff, administrators, and guests during the library’s regular hours.

Dell PCs |
Nineteen PCs, thirteen upstairs and six downstairs, are available in the library. These devices are open to all students and are first come, first served. Log in with your HT username and password to keep your data secure. |

Apple Macs |
Ten iMacs, eight upstairs and two downstairs, are available in the library. These devices are open to all students and are first come, first served. These devices use a shared account. The username and password are available at each computer. |

Ricoh IM C4500 All-in-One Printer with PaperCut |
Located upstairs, this combined printer, scanner, and copier is available to all students, faculty, and staff at no charge. To print, email your document to library@htu.edu. KIC (Knowledge Imaging Center) Click Mini Scanner | Located upstairs next to the Ricoh printer, this easy to use overhead scanner is available to all students, faculty, and staff at no charge. No login is necessary. Scanned documents can be emailed to any address.

OneScreen Interactive Display Boards |
Located downstairs in Multipurpose Room 104 and upstairs in Study Rooms 204 and 205, the OneScreen Interactive Display Boards are touchscreen smartboards compatible with all devices and available to all students. Great for group work. Functions as a whiteboard or projector. | |
WhisperRoom Recording Booth | Located downstairs in the library, this sound isolation booth and recording studio holds 1 person and includes a desk, chair, laptop, and Blue Yeti USB microphone. Built-in air filtration system recycles air continuously. Lighting is provided. A NEW resource for video calls, music recording and remixing, voice acting, podcasting, and audio engineering. Reserve time online. | |

bibliotheca/3M Security Gates |
To protect our collections, all library books contain a small, concealed magnet that is deactivated at checkout. If a book is taken from the building without being checked out, the security gates at the doors sound an alarm. Visitors may be asked to return to the Circulation Desk to finish checking out their books. |

Oransi EJ120 HEPA Air Purifiers |
Found across campus as part of the Safe and Healthy Rams initiative, these devices maintain a constant flow of clean air indoors. They contain medical-grade True HEPA filters that remove 99.99% of airborne particulates at 0.3 microns, 99.8% at 0.10 microns and 99.8% at 0.02 microns to prevent the spread of coronavirus. |
