Adult Degree Program
The Adult Degree Program is tailored to meet the needs of working adults, providing a flexible course structure that supports full-time employment. This program facilitates the attainment of educational goals efficiently while allowing students to manage their professional and personal responsibilities. To accommodate busy schedules, classes are held once a week in the evening, with an additional weekly learning team meeting.

Admission Requirements
- Pay a non-refundable $25 admission application fee
- Earned a minimum 2.0 GPA in the last 30 college-level semester hours attempted (Education majors will need a minimum of 2.3)
- Students with less than 30 college-level semester hours will have to submit a high school transcript
- Must be in good standing with the last college/university attended
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended (even if students have withdrawn from the institution before final grades are posted)
Students transferring from junior/community colleges and four-year accredited institutions are limited to transferring 66 college-level semester credit hours toward graduation requirements. Only courses with grades of “C” or better are accepted for transfer credit.
Note: There is no guarantee that all transfer credits will apply towards satisfying degree requirements at Huston-Tillotson University. The Academic Advisor, in consultation with the Director of Student Services, makes the final decision to accept transfer credit applicable to the student’s degree plan. Transfer credit is not counted in calculating a student’s cumulative GPA.
