Sagarika Dey, M.S.

Ms. Sagarika Dey has a total of 20 years of teaching experience in the freshman and
sophomore level Math and Physics courses. She taught at Blinn College (Bryan, Texas), at St.
Edward University (Austin, TX), and at Austin Community College (Austin, TX) before joining
Huston-Tillotson University as a Mathematics Instructor.

Ms. Dey completed her B.S, B.Ed., and M.S. in physics from Visva-Bharati University in India
and her M.S. in statistics from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. She also took
some graduate-level Math courses from Texas A&M University (College Station) and Texas
Tech University. She loves Mathematics.

She is a lifelong learner. She loves enriching herself with various subject matters. Other than
Math and Physics, she loves doing various forms of creative art. She took a few art classes
at Austin Community College, and in her free time, she does painting, sewing, beading,
knitting, singing, and cooking.
