English Program

The English major offers two concentrations, Writing Arts or Literary Arts, as well as two minors, English or Professional Writing. The goal of the English program is to help students develop the reading, writing, speaking, research, and critical thinking skills necessary for their professional, civic, and personal success. English also offers courses in the Pre-Law minor and the Environmental Studies major.
