Huston-Tillotson University Receives Financial Gift from C3 Presents to Launch New Music Business Certification Program

 

Austin, Texas – Huston-Tillotson University (HT) received a $10k check from C3 Presents, an Austin-based concert promotion, event production and artist management company, which will be used to help launch its new music business certification program. Beginning this fall semester, HT will offer the six-week program that is designed to play a major role in developing the rich pipeline of music business talent in Texas. Housed at HT’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and online, the program will be open to Austin-area undergraduates and adult learners and will feature a first-of-its-kind curriculum developed and taught by working industry professionals.
