I.D.E.A.L Summer Academy

The All-STAR Academy is a six-week summer program especially designed for first time freshmen who plan to attend and graduate from Huston-Tillotson University. Graduating high school seniors who are interested in taking the necessary steps to jump-start their academic careers will have the opportunity to:

Complete six [6] hours of college-level coursework.
Take part in academic and social enhancement.
Network with faculty, staff, and administrators.

All-STAR Academy Admission Qualifications:

Must meet the Huston-Tillotson University Admission criteria.
Be admitted into Huston-Tillotson University as a first-time freshman.
ACT score of 16 or higher or a minimum of 900 SAT score.
High school grade point average of 2.3 or higher.

General Information

Huston-Tillotson University is affiliated with The United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ, and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). HT, in Austin, is a coeducational college of liberal arts and sciences, operating jointly under the auspices of the American Missionary Association of the United Church of Christ, and the Board of Education of The United Methodist Church. Huston-Tillotson College officially changed its name to Huston-Tillotson University on February 28, 2005.

Huston-Tillotson University’s business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CST.
