By welcoming our teacher candidate to your campus, you demonstrate a strong commitment to nurturing the next generation of educators. Our interns have consistently proven to be valuable contributors to their respective campuses, and we are confident you will find your selection to be equally rewarding.
A cornerstone of our program’s success is the campus mentorship experience. We deeply appreciate your efforts in pairing our teacher candidates with skilled and supportive cooperating teachers and mentors. This collaboration plays a critical role in developing the interns’ teaching skills, boosting their confidence, and facilitating their transition into the teaching profession. The mentor-mentee relationship not only fosters the intern’s growth but also promotes mutual professional development and strengthens the school’s collaborative culture.
Additionally, a field supervisor will regularly visit your campus to observe, guide, and support the teacher candidate. Acting as a liaison between our Educator Preparation Program and your school, the field supervisor ensures that the candidate receives the feedback and resources necessary to evolve into an effective educator. These visits are essential in bridging the theoretical knowledge from coursework with the practical demands of classroom teaching. Please do not hesitate to share any feedback or concerns regarding the placement or performance of our teacher candidates during this process.
