Huston-Tillotson Partners with Amazon to Launch 24-Hour Hub Locker

Austin, Texas – December 17, 2024 — Huston-Tillotson University (HT) is proud to announce an exciting new partnership with Amazon to enhance student and campus life. Through this collaboration, Amazon has installed a state-of-the-art Amazon Hub Locker outside of the Davage-Durden Student Union, allowing students, faculty, and staff to pick up their packages conveniently 24 hours a day.
This partnership demonstrates HT’s commitment to innovation and student satisfaction by providing a secure and flexible package delivery option. The Amazon Hub Locker gives users a seamless way to retrieve their orders at their convenience, eliminating the need to wait during traditional package delivery hours.
“This partnership with Amazon reflects our ongoing commitment to creating a modern and student-centered campus,” said Shaquille Dillon, Vice President for Marketing, Strategy, Impact, and Innovation. “The Amazon Hub Locker is more than just a delivery solution; it’s a resource that ensures our campus community has access to the tools they need in a way that fits their busy schedules,” said President Wallace.
Located in the heart of the Bluebonnet Hill, the Locker is designed to enhance convenience while supporting HT’s efforts to create a dynamic and tech-enabled campus. Hub with only be for Amazon deliveries and will be available in January 2025.
