
Dr. Carrza DuBose
Dr. Carrza DuBose is from Detroit, Michigan. He holds a B.A. in Chemistry from Fisk University, an M.F.A. in Writing from Spalding University, and a Ph.D. in English from Morgan State University. He has published work in several journals and edited collections, including The Zora Neale Hurston Forum, The Seabreeze Journal of Liberian Writings, Mythium Journal, Beyond Tradition: African Women in Cultural and Political Spaces, and W.E.B. Du Bois and the Africana Rhetoric of (De)-alienation. He has received multiple awards for fiction writing, including the Margaret Walker Memorial Prize, the Adele Holden Creative Writing Prize, and the Kentuckiana Metroversity Creative Writing Award. He lives and works in Austin, Texas.
