Meet the Staff

Under the leadership of the Director of Residence Life & Student Development, the Office of Residence Life at Huston-Tillotson University is committed to providing a vibrant, supportive, and engaging on-campus living experience. The Residence Life staff manages the daily operations of campus housing, including the housing application process, room assignments, and the maintenance and upkeep of residence halls. More importantly, the team works to cultivate a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment where students can feel at home and thrive both personally and academically.

The Residence Life team includes professional Hall Coordinators, Student Staff, and work-study students who live and work in the residence halls. These team members play a crucial role in building community by organizing programs and events, mediating roommate concerns, and supporting the enforcement of residential policies. Their presence ensures that students receive guidance and support throughout their on-campus experience.

In addition, our overnight receptionists are vital to maintaining safety and security during non-business hours. They manage after-hours check-ins, assist with resident concerns, and provide critical support during emergencies—helping to ensure a secure and responsive living environment for all students.
