Do you need help with arrest records?  Do you have:

  • An arrest that was never charged?
  • An arrest where charges were dismissed?
  • A deferred adjudication?
  • A first-time misdemeanor conviction?

Is your driver’s license suspended? Learn why your driver’s license is suspended and the steps you can take to get it back.

Just because a case is dismissed by a judge does not automatically mean it is removed from the official record. It can have long-term ramifications that can affect a person’s ability to gain future employment, housing, or more. There will be separate stations for help with driver’s license recovery and expunction and sealing of criminal records.

The Institute for Justice and Equity at Huston-Tillotson (IJE) is an institute dedicated to justice and equity knowledge and its application based on quality research, informed by citizen legal education with community engagement, and strengthened by dynamic program activities that inspire understanding and good will.
