The Women’s Softball team will be striving to keep moving forward in our third season. Our first senior and captain that HT will be graduating is Roxanne (Roxy) Rodriguez. She will be leading her teammates to an even better season as the team gets ready for the 2012 year. We will be starting our season playing against University of Dallas in Dallas on February 3, 2012, then following playing against Texas Southern University on February 11, 2012, at home. Continuing to contribute to the team will be All-Conference team April Atkins and Pitcher Roxanne Rodriguez. New comer Celese (Kiki) Tirres is eager to come in and make a mark on the team and in the conference. The Lady Rams hope to reach an even higher goal and take conference this season.

Huston-Tillotson University is affiliated with The United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ, and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). HT, in Austin, is a coeducational college of liberal arts and sciences, operating jointly under the auspices of the American Missionary Association of the United Church of Christ, and the Board of Education of The United Methodist Church. Huston-Tillotson College officially changed its name to Huston-Tillotson University on February 28, 2005.
