Dr. Seiter began teaching public schools in Houston, Texas following his military career. He has taught English literature, writing and grammar, speech communication, debate, media literacy and theater arts in grades 6-12. He has designed professional development courses for teachers in media literacy, curriculum, instructional techniques and computer integration techniques. He has presented at numerous conventions in Texas for early childhood, middle school and high school organizations in curriculum design and multimedia use in the classroom. He is certified as an educational administrator, teacher evaluator and principal in Texas.
He earned his Doctor of Education (Ed. D.) from the University of Houston in Curriculum and Instruction. His emphasis areas included teacher training, research methods and technology integration in the classroom. He taught in the College of Education at Concordia University in Austin, Texas, for the University of St. Thomas in Houston and the Department of Education at Texas A&M University – Central Texas in Killeen.
