Gene Sampson ’62 was inducted into the Prairie View Interscholastic League Coaches Association Hall of Honor on July 23 in Fort Worth. Sampson coached at Mary A. Brown High School and led his teams to a state football championship in 1963. He also coached girls and boys basketball.
