HT Establishes Transfer Agreement with Alamo Colleges

(AUSTIN, TX) 9.13.16 — Huston-Tillotson University President and Chief Executive Officer Colette Pierce Burnette Pierce signed a Transfer Pathways Compact Collaborative Agreement today with the five Alamo Colleges, affirming guided success for students in this region.

“This agreement increases the clarity of courses required; reduces time of degree completion; improves information to students, their advisors, and faculty from ninth grade to baccalaureate achievement; and reduces unnecessary course thereby reducing student costs,” said Pierce Burnette.

In addition to Huston-Tillotson University and the Alamo Colleges, other collaborators in support of the Guided Pathways to Success for students in the San Antonio/Austin Region include: Austin Community College, Concordia University Texas, St. Edward’s University, The University of Texas at San Antonio, Texas A&M University-San Antonio, Texas State University, St. Mary’s University, Our Lady of the Lake University, and the University of the Incarnate Word.
